King Rustic Kitchen & Bar started back in 2013 with one goal in mind, Bring NYC energy to Downtown Toronto! Amena & Loren were both experienced bartenders & bar managers in Manhattan, when they talked in passing of “how cool it would be to have our own bar”, not really taking it too serious being that they were only 26 at the time and only 2 years removed from graduating University.

It wasn’t until Loren tried Amena’s Signature Food and Amena’s tried Loren Signature Cocktails that a lightbulb went off. Driven by shear passion and ambition they set out to achieve heights that they could only imagine. Not only would King Rustic become a staple within the King West Community, it would serve as a hub for their unwavering love for bringing people together through food and drink.
